The bike also sports the original period racer fitted hacksaw blade magneto cutout and VERY RARE FACTORY RACE CONICAL AND FINNED HUBS! Correct rare Smiths magnetic tachometer. I purchased this bike over 40 years ago at the estate of legendary bike collector Zachary Reynolds' estate auction .Zachary Reynolds was an heir to the Reynolds tobacco company fortune and was sadly killed at a young age in an aircraft accident . He had a big collection of bikes and cars, all of which were the best available. I am including his personal collection of license plates , and all correspondence he had with the Harley factory and a tattered old Bates race bike Harley cover I bought at the auction. The bike has all the right stuff The original racer/owner is not known but Zach had enough money to buy whatever he wanted so it is anyone's guess. It has been in dry heated storage since I let fired it up about 35 years ago ! It has an American title and all correct import papers to Canada in my name.
