One of a kind 1976 Harley Davidson Liberty Edition with Liberator fairing. This bike is completely original with the exception of an S&S super E carb. However, I have the original carburetor and air cleaner. The bike only has 8,900 original miles. Runs perfect.
The Liberator fairing was manufactured by Vetter Fairing, known for creating the windjammer fairings used on several japanese bikes. Harley contracted with vetter for 4 years in the 70's (74-77). These fairing as super hard to find and give the bike additional "family truckster" appearance with 4 lights (2 headlights and 2 spots) in the fairing. The bike is truly a love it or hate it look.
Some 1976 bikes were designated as Liberty edition to celebrate the country's bicentennial. The paint was custom from the factory and features a first time metal flake finish.
The bike is truly a collector's item.
