The chopper build on this Sportster was completed in 1977. I got it in 2004 from the family that owned it since 1973 and did the build in the 70's. The painter placed a small "logo" at the rear tip of the gas tank and dated it: 9-26-77. The paint work includes gold leaf and marbleized effect. This is a genuine old school chopper, preserved exactly as it was when completed in 1977. It's a show winner wherever it goes, including Best Period Modified at Oley in 2005 and Sunshine meet 2018, 2nd place in AMA Hall of Fame Museum Concours D'Elegance invitation only show in 2007. Was also on loan to National Motorcycle Museum 2015-2017 for the Chopper Story exhibit. I have more pics, and more details on awards and the history going back to 1973, including mechanical, which is excellent. I've had my fun with it and have collected many trophies and memorabilia.
