Probably '37 through '39 by most literature, Duffey!
Early '36 two-screw intakes are true 'hen's teeth'.
Nice nickel left on the body... Hope it gets "conserved", not "restored".

Sorry to be confusing, but by 'intake' I meant the end of the carb where the air comes in.

The M-5F on the far left in the link has a polished bowl, and the wrong HS needle knob, unless that's a CA state patrol thing. The plating is too bright.
The second one has a Schebler HS needle and bowl nut, and gawdawful plating, even on what is perhaps a bronze M21 bowl.
The third at least has the correct style of HS needle, but the same gawdawful plating, and what is probably a reproduction, and incorrect, bowl.
The fourth has a questionable bowl, and note how the lowspeed lift lever doesn't reach the choke cam. Again, the plating is a molestation.
The fifth one also appears to have a reproduction, incorrect bowl, wrong throttle lever, and as garish a plating job as the rest.
Note how none of them had the manifold and aircleaner flanges dressed before plating, likely to peel when re-cut. I would assume that any and all would need service before put into duty.

PS: The offered main nozzle looks funky too!Last edited by T. Cotten; 11-10-2016, 02:28 PM.AMCA #776

Nicer nickel, no doubt, Duffey!
The cast numbers ain't 'crisp', but they aren't easy to see anyway...
(Folks should always wait until after the spigots are swaged of distortion and re-cut before re-plating.)

What bothers me most Folks,...
...Is that there doesn't seem to be any platers willing to match the original dull ("Watts", "flash", etc..) plating.
.....Cotten
PS: I say 'willing' because I sent back a parcel of partially serviced, but ready to plate, H models back to the East Coast owner/plater... and after many months, and un-answered emails, I fear I might just get stiffed. Again.Attached FilesLast edited by T. Cotten; 11-11-2016, 11:04 AM.AMCA #776
