Tomorrow (Tuesday) at 5PM PST my 1937 Dash Cover will be on ebay. No reserve. This cover becomes a 1936 EL cover when the speedometer light switch hole is filled.

You want a thousand bucks for that Dash Cover and all you could come up with is 4 lousy photos?
I smell a PROFITEER that needs to go to photography class? And why didn't you start the auction at 10 bucks and let it ride?

Mine is listed hundreds of dollars cheaper than the last two that sold on eBay. If I started it at ten bucks that is what it would sell for. Feel free to list your parts at any price you desire. I list mine at what I feel it is worth. Filling a hole is hardly fakery.
It is sad to see that after many years you still take every opportunity to try to make me look bad. That only makes you look bad.

After you warned all of us what could happen when you bid on a $60 NOS Panhead Tool Box Cover that looked like it sat on the bottom of the ocean as a boat anchor you list a rare 1937 dash Cover for $1,000 with those photos? And lack of description? Does your Cover have the tabs for the lenses and are they all intact or will they need replacing? And is the lower skirt spot welded or wire welded like the repops they have sold over the years? And what about the protrusion up front near the skirt line for the wire to clear the dash base on 36-37 Cover? Thanks Jeff C. for educating me on that one and if that protrusion isn't there your cover could be an old repop!. Big $$$ difference here between 60 and a thousand bucks! You wanna be a "profiteer" you need to clean up your act and auction a little. Respectfully as always, 46EL.

And someone I know also pointed out to me you missed one key word in you auctions Title and that is the word KNUCKLEHEAD.
Since ebay combined anything and everything from Triumph to Cushman to Harley the Antique Vintage Historic section as of this morning it has 485,000 listed items.
If a potential buyer/bidder searches "harley" ONLY 26,175 items appear.
By adding the word KNUCKLEHEAD in the Title it narrows it down a lot more than that and makes it possible for potential bidders to find it.
And don't just think you can revise your Title and add the word Knucklehead.
Your original wording in the Title will stick and it will not come up in a search.
Or I should say it didn't way back when so check it Mr. Big!

here is what i get with 1937 harley knucklehead dash. it only comes up in things related to. ebay has been a pain in the ass with all the crap they throw in. i find so many tee shirts now when i look for parts.

Just can't help but feel that you are driving up the prices of these parts and making it hard on yourself to afford anything anymore!

As I mentioned I listed the part well below what others have sold for in the past two weeks. I have never said I never sell anything as I often sell parts to people who come to my shop in need of something. What I don't do is to buy bikes and parts with the intention of selling them for signicicately more money to make a living.

Try using a brown background instead of white.

A piece of cardboard might work but I use something that is just a little darker brown than cardboard.

The White background and the light color (chrome?) of the part reflects the camera flash back into the photo and makes it look over exposed.

Then try moving the camera back from the part and zooming in with the lens to lower the flash and its effects.

Chrome and a shiny black can be the two hardest things to photo. 46EL
