I have just finished a batch of Harley JD Rear Axle Nuts that Fit an OEM Axle, Used 1914-1929.
HD Part Number 3999-14. These are the correct oddball thread of 39/64-24 TPI and will fit an OEM axle.
There are others being produced by another company, but they are a 5/8-24 thread and WILL NOT fit an OEM axle. THESE DO!
The price is US$20 for one pair of nuts. I have them listed on eBay as well under my seller ID mmasahd
They are Parkerized now, but could be Nickel plated for earlier models if desired.
