I Have decided to sell the tank that came with a 1932 R project I bought last year. The right side (Red) tank is rusted through on the side panel, but not too bad. Repairable for sure. I believe that this is the correct tank for the 1932 R. The left side (White) is in better shape. No holes. I believe that it is either for a little newer R or RL or possibly a VL. It has the smaller cutout for the seat bar through the tank mounting plate.
Not really sure what these would be worth. If anyone is interested in one or the other or both please make me an offer. Email me your city as well and I can give you an idea on how much shipping would be.
If anyone can shed light on what exactly these are please do so.
