  • WLA side car - german?

I have a sidecar boat and chassis which will fit a WLA -- the boat is an original, but not for a WLA (I believe it is a German antique), and the chassis is home made with a car tire -- the whole rig is in great shape and is painted in the standard Army dark green with the white star , the paint was bought from the original factory in New Jersey which still makes the military paints. The black-out lights are originals. The paint job is still pretty good, and this type of paint is easy to touch up, it's basically primer. It was the "Liberator's Hack" for many years.....I had the hack hooked up for many riding seasons and it works. All the necessary hardware is there, the leaf springs are in great shape....the car tire unit could be exchanged for a standard motorcycle tire, but I don't have the time and space to do so. I used a small car seat for many years for people to sit on, but then used the hack for hauling groceries and a dog - a lot of fun. If you do some research, you will see pictures or footage from WWII showing WLA's and their sidecars being modified, German bike parts being exchanged, anything to keep them running --- I hate to see it go, had it for 30 years....if you know your antique bikes you probably know how old the boat it...the whole unit came over from Germany, just as it is now....make me an offer I cannot resist... pick-up only, I live in New Hampshire
