Looks like a bitsa. The NH on the Magdyno chaincase means its a 350cc not a 500cc engine. If the girder forks are original it is a 1945 or earlier, since telescopic fork came in for 1946. The claim that it is a 1949 should be checked as 1947-on had an optional rear suspension on the Anstey link principle. The carb. is an Amal Monobloc which only came in on the 1955 NH Ariels (which by 1954 had swingarm rear suspension).
