Very sad to say long time Long Beach resident George Gunther passed away yesterday. George was a fantastic guy, very friendly, knowledge able, skilled in many areas. He was a long time collector of all things neat and old and I think skilled at working with all of them. He had raced motorcycles, had been in many long time clubs. Was one of the So Cal Chapthers founding fathers. He and his family put on a yearly get together - Gunthers yard meet, thousands have attended. Always a fun time and George was always there, operating equipment, assisting, always a smile and a helpful hand and many great stories from the good old days. We will soarly miss him, wishing his family all the best at this difficult time.
