    Jim Trochet

Jim Trochet 72years of age, Fort Sutter Chapter member, husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many has passed on. Jim was a fine machinist, motorcycle restorer, and great Indian and Harley motor builder out of his shop called Indian Alley in Vallejo, Ca. He will be greatly missed by all of his many friends, family, and fellow Doinksters.

Rich- Please pass on my condolences. I met Jim about 25yrs ago, He always remembered me, called me by name. Although we only saw one another at the annual meets, he spoke to me like we were long lost brothers. A kind of guy that exudes generosity and a willingness to share his knowledge, as a major influence in the bay area in California, he has left some very big shoes to fill.
He will be dearly missed. RIP

I knew Jim for 30 years. Jim was an all around good guy and the most talented machinist I've ever known. He will be sorely missed. RIP

For those in the NorCal area ( or anywhere ) that want to join us for Jim's memorial it will be held this Saturday August 31st at the Mare Island Chapel in Vallejo at 1100 am. I believe the turn off of HWY 37 west of Hwy 80 is marked Railroad or Walnut St. They both run parallel down to the Chapel.
