William "Bill" Lawrence Provance, 70, of Princeton, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022, in his home. Bill was born on October 14, 1952, in Adair County, Missouri to Ivan and Opal (Shacklett) Provance. He was a 1970 graduate of Princeton High School. Bill was a member of the Antique Motorcycle Club-Chief Blackhawk Chapter, founding member and Vice President of ABATE of Illinois-Twin Rivers Chapter, HOG (Harley Owners Group), and the American Motorcycle Association. Bill was an avid fan of NASCAR, the White Sox, and Da Bears. He is survived by: his sister-in-law, Delores Provance of Coal City, Nephews, Steven (Jane) and Jerry (Patty) Provance of Coal City, and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Eric.
There will be a "Celebration of Life" at the Princeton Moose Lodge this coming spring May 6, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Please wear your Harley attire.
