  • Remembering Those We Lost in 2021

The last two years have not been kind to the world. We lost a record number of members in this time, most not related to the pandemic. Today, I added the name of Jim Correia, Jr. of Westport, MA. As far as I know, I never met Jim yet feel a bond to him for the fact that he and I joined the AMCA almost to the day in 2014. Sadly the list accumulated on these pages are just a fraction of those we know of. I would challenge each of you to take a few minutes to look at the names on the 2020 and 2021 list. For all those names you recognize, resonate on them for a second. As I often say, a person never truly dies until no one remembers their name. The photo is of my good friend Mike Sullivan at one of two road runs he attended this year. Here's to all those who have gone before us and to seeing a shorter list in 2022.
