Gerry and I corresponded via this AMCA site many years ago regarding the motorcycle racing records in the US of various Canadian racers. And the Canadian racing records of some American racers.
The information was certainly helpful to me and I think Gerry found the Canadian information useful as well.
Sorry to hear of his passing and sincere condolences to his family.

Gerry could be contentious, but that was more with the written word. In person, he was a gentleman, with the subtlety, wit, and intelligence of an interesting person. I wish I had known him better. My deepest condolences to Lisa, his family, and many friends. God bless.

I am so sickened at this horrible news. Sarge and I wrote each other quite often. Our conversations were hardly ever motorcycle related. It was the good people we spoke of. It was the evil ones as well. It was about our nation and what we must do to return our nation to its former glory. It about humorous jokes to soften the blows of our joint concerns. Damn Sarge !! You never let on to me you were ill. I loved you Brother. I will see you again.

Here is part of Gerry's Legacy. He never owned a 1936 EL but he and Lisa put a lot of effort into the Registry. Rest in Peace.

I met Gerry at Davenport also in Eustis. Does anyone else remember his attempt to ride from Florida to Davenport. It was a good story
