In case folks don't know it yet we lost a giant in the hobby with the passing of "Old Dude", Clete Bourchete yesterday. He had been sick and in the hospital for a while and wasn't expected to make the New Year and unfortunately they were right. Thoughts and prayers with Carol , Bart and the whole family!

I'm sorry to hear that. I always enjoyed chatting to Clete at the Meets, and he was a fixture over many years when I visited. He was always knowledgeable and helpful, and also had a competition history from back in the day. My condolences to Bart and Carol, we have lost a friend.

I'm sure Clete passed on a lot of knowledge in his own quiet way. He sure helped a lot of people. My deepest condolences to his family, and friends.
