Sad news this evening from Florida. Good friend and one time AMCA Member Alan "OOPIE" Murray has passed away very unexpectadly 7-18-16 from what sounds like an apparent heart attack down in sunny hot Florida. I had just spoke with him last week and sent him some parts this Monday. Just got a call from his late cousin Susan's husband Ray who he lived with with the sad news. Oopie was a pipe fitter and a master mechanic and a jack of all trades. He loved Indians and had a great vast knowledge especially on all the dirfferent Scout Models and Chiefs from the mid 20's right up to 1953 and then some. I know I will miss him. 46EL/JohnP

That is sad news!! We have lost a few in the Yankee neck of the woods lately!! Was wondering why I haven't seen Oopie around for some time... He also put a smile on my face when we chatted@ the meets!! Rest in peace my friend!! BPK!!
