With regret, I report that Roger died early this morning from injuries in a motorcycle accident. He was riding his HD45, wearing his helmet, no alcohol involved, cause of the accident is unknown.

Funeral will be in Winchester, Ky. Details to follow.

Roger was the Bluegrass Chapter VP. Please keep his wife, Robin, and his family in your prayers.

Happened on Red House Road (very familiar road to all of us). Probable cause is heart attack. Heard he was feeling off the day prior.

Robin is from Kentucky and has a lot of family in the area. Roger's family from New York is on their way in, as I understand. Roger and Robin both have a great number of friends in the immediate area, and we're all still in shock and disbelief at this point. It was definitely a somber mood at bike nite yesterday evening ...
