Ray J. was riding home on one of the routes we had on our recent Road Run when his bike left the road. It was instant. Ray was not yet an "official" member of the club, but anyone on the run who required a chase vehicle wouldn't have counted that against him. Ray was a father, a Navy Vietnam veteran, and close friend to some our club members. He was buried with full military honors at Camp Nelson last Friday. His obituary can be found at the link above.

I was one of the folks that Ray "rescued" on the Road Run when my Panhead pooped out. Though, we had only a couple of hours to get to know each other, I could tell he was a good guy. He will be missed.Fred Davis AMCA #9176
