    Like Marks says that is very shiny.


    The ad looks like marketing for the bike at Bonhams in April. The problem with that is that because of COVID the auction has now been put back to August.

    It's over restored, but not by much. 1916 Js (and all early H-Ds) had a lot of nickel plating, and available options. I think the package truck is over the top, but obviously the proud owner loves it. In talking with big time collectors of early O.P. Hareys, they say the paint work, and general finish was far better than most people would think. I'm prejudiced for 1916 Js and I believe they were a minor milestone for Harley-Davidson.
