So I roughed it and just drove home jockey shift style (rod hang'in out) with 2nd and 3rd. It never sticks in first without pressure. Always an adventure on the sport scout.
Thought about converting to a jockey shift but I really like the feeling of cruising in 3rd with left hand on throttle and right hand low on the stick. It's real comfortable.
Anyone prefer a jockey shift? Why?
