I have purchased the brackets to mount my chainguard and one of the narrow front ones is twice as thick as the other two. The wade rear one and the lower front one are both 12 gauge steel, but I am told the thicker upper one is correct for that application. Can anyone verify that? I have gotten a lot of mixed information about these brackets.
