Hi,
I'm trying to determine the overall length of a Dispatch Tow license plate bracket, Indian p/n 40731. It is shown in the attachment above the typical late model bracket with the bend (40496). I believe the DT bracket is flat, and has no bend in it. I've tried to scale it from this and other pictures, and it seems about 6", but I'd like to get the exact measurement from an original.
2nd question. Indian Dispatch tow body and tail light ground strip, p/n 40101. I'm trying to find the size, length, lug size, construction, and attach points to the bike. It grounds the tail light to the frame, but where? Could the 1/2" wide, braided copper strip remnant on my bike be part of the correct strip? Maybe. But I'm trying to find out for sure.
