oil and plugs for a '31 model 402?
OK so finally I'm riding the 402 and I notice the plugs seem cold (black & sooty). Anyone know what is the next warmer plug from a D16? Timing is fine and I've got the correct carb too.
And can anyone recommend (from experience) what oil I should be running? It's ALWAYS 75-85 F out here.
By the by, a word to the wise, IF the compression is good and you are still fouling a plug it is most likely bound up and needs gentle heat cycling to break it loose.
