Does anyone know when (date or serial #'s) the horn covers were changed in 1946? There is a posting on page 38 of this forum from 2006 stating both the 841 cover without INDIAN on the bar and the sunburst cover were used in 1946. My Chief's serial number is 5521 so I presume a chromed sunburst cover would probably be most correct but looking for something other than conjecture to base a decision on. Thanks
