Good Morning
I have about 500 miles on my fresh 80'' shovellhead. I've been breaking it in with Castrol 20w50. At the 1000 mile oil change I was considering using Amsoil 20w50 Synthetic Oil. Are there any disadvantages to using synthetic oil in a Shovelhead.
Also the 2nd annual Kootenay Shovelfest is taking place in Creston BC Sept 2 It was a great event last year. Attached is the poster. Google 2018 Kootenay Shovelfest for directions
