I have a workable set of bubble bags that I've used for many years on my 58 pan. These have been repaired and painted before I acquired them. Over the years, some of the rivets have gone missing (main support steel strap and upper trim ring) and the white paint needs to go black.
Any info on paint color and finish to make them black, as well as a source for rivets would be greatly appreciated.
I realize that I won't have an original finish without sourcing new bags, just want these to be passable while I look for that perfect set.
Looks as though a matte finish might be in order, just not sure, as I'm not a pro painter
