Has anyone got 9/16" diameter Truss Head rivets mounting the brace onto the fender?
I'm getting my OEM fenders ready for paint & the rear fender had original 1/2" rivets before I removed them. The front fender is in much better condition, but it has 9/16" diameter Truss heads mounting the brace. There's no evidence of this being replaced, & appears to be factory. All the fender rivets I've seen have been 1/2". I have NOS surplus 1/2" rivets ready to use on the rear. I realize the difference is minimal, but I thought I'd throw out the question. You never know, a reply may make me change the front.
