1947 speedometer core

47 is a one year only speedo because of the light arrangement mentioned. Like Chris says it has a "window" and the light socket mounts in the dash cover not the speedo itself.

I don' Have a picture. The light slot on the bucket isn't across the bottom like the 36-46. It wraps around the side so the light from the two light dash will shine in.

Do you have any pics of just the bucket? Is it a one year only? Somewhere I have a small box of disassembled junk speedos that I could look at in the next couple days, offhand I don't remember what is all in there.
