1929 JD Tire Size

Can anyone tell me with reasonable confidence what tire size would have originally come on the 1929 JD? They are still the clincher style rims on mine now... I think. Not sure how to tell truth be told. I also believe the tire sizes were described in a different convention back then. Looking for modern size convention such that I can order a set from Coker. The tire currently on these rims are 4.50-18.

If you have 4.50-18 on the bike that would not be a clincher but a drop center rim so use the same. the clincher size was 3.85-20 these are expensive and not as safe and reliable as later syle drop center.
