This drive mechanism came in the spare parts box with my J Model. It bolts to the generator gearcase on my 21J motor and has a generator drive gear. It looks like it would mesh with the drive side of an early Bosch Magneto. Not sure the gear ratios would be right for a mag though. Here's two pictures of the drive and one of a Bosch Magneto drive side. Can anybody identify it?
