Hi folks, wondering if anyone knows the max diameter a VL rear brake drum can be machined out to? I'm currently at 8.050" ID on a 8.210" OD which leaves me with an 80 thou wall thickness.
It doesn't seem like a lot so thought I'd ask before going any further with it. Another way of looking at it is that I'm down to ~76% remaining wall thickness assuming the drum started life at 8.000" ID. As always, any assistance is very much appreciated.
