45 exhaust headers fitment

I was at the Race of Gentlemen and a racer told me that "no aftermarket exhaust systems fit the 45's correctly".

Has anyone bought aftermarket pipes that fit these well?

Mine is a 1942 WLA with a later 1952 frame. I believe the frame dimensions are the same though.
