  • LED "Vintage" bulbs.

    http://www.dynamoregulatorconversions.com/

Thought I would pass on this link. We trialed some of these lights last year... with outstanding results. The light is phenomenal, the units are completely immune to vibration. And the power consumption is almost 'nil.

Best part is that no alterations are needed. Remove incandescent bulb, put this in. Go. You just have to make sure you order the right bulb (6v 12V, Positive ground/neg ground.) But if the sockets match... the bulb simply goes in. The site provides an excellent guide for ordering.

I now run these LED's on my own car and plan on converting my JD as soon as I can get an order in. For those riding at night, anything to improve visibility and reduce electrical consumption... is a winner.

If there is an American equivalent, I've not come across it. I know some OEM's are starting to put in LED's. But nothing much is out there for old cars/bikes that I have seen.

    Cheers,

    Sirhr
