    Steve,
Because of the ash fallout, seems like the airports in Europe is going to have flights cancelled, or at least disrupted for a week or so.

    George

PS, Harry Hacker informed me that the meeting in Dinkeslbuhl will not be there but in Den Hagg. Sorry, can't make that one.

Well said Mr Slocombe. I'm looking forward to going to Oley next week. Perhaps I'll have the pleasure of meeting you there.

Dear All, I've been quiet for a few days while enjoying a fabulous 500 miles riding in Texas Hill Country on John Nixon's borrowed Harley 36VLH. It was great. I'm now in Houston Public Library trying to rebook return flights to the UK because of that Icelandic volcano. Could be a struggle. If necessary, I'll get a flight from Houston to Oley rather than have you guys think I'm staying away because of the threats made on this very forum. Let's lighten up, move on, and remember the idea is to have fun with old bikes like I've recently been doing courtesy of Cherokee Chapter. Best regards.

    Bob,

No problem, and no insult intended with the offer OK.

    I have a 42 WLA, and a 2000 ElectraGlide Ultra.

And yes riding (when weather permits) in the county side is nice.

Take care, and don't worry about the pics. If you would sign up for photobucket account, attaching photos is pretty painless.

    George,
Thanks for the offer, but I'd prefer you spend the $20. on some of that good German beer for yourself. I don't mean to seem ungrateful or "needy" for that matter. That was a nice gesture on your part. I still haven't figured out how to post pics, but I'm sure someone will.
I hope you have a bike over there, I understand the countryside is very nice.
    Prost!

I'm looking forward to it Paps.
I've been going to Wauseon for many years. I made Davenport two years ago. Going to meets is always the best part of the year. I hope to get around to others too. I don't worry about the cost. My friends asked & I didn't have an answer. Times are tough though, no doubt.
I hope to see you there, Bob

Junkyarddog, if that was your first thought you can keep your second. If you feel you have to,
    tell it to my face.

Thanks guys for the input, just curious more than anything. I inquired about Wauseon & I was told it is $35. there, so $20. is a bargain. This is my first time riding to Oley, looking forward to it. Thanks again,

    Oley camping

    Hey bobdo

If I remember camping I "think" its around $20 at the firemans fair grounds where the meet is located, you could call Barry Alergo he may be able to tell you he is the contact for vending spots and such.

Now down the street there is a spot that you can pitch a tent for free most people there have campers and motorhomes I pitched a tent there last year,as did a friend of mine we were on a low budget they also have a couple of porta-johns set up there to.

Just come and check out the stuff no matter what the finances it's a good time

That is about what I would expect from you. Do you have to chime in on what ever? Do you have nothing better to do? No matter what is up, you need to get in on it.
