I would like to thank and congradulate the Ft. Sutter Chapter for it successful National Meet this past weekend. It was very well attended, the weather was perfect, every thing was laid back, and well organized, and all the vendors had great quality treasures.
The theme of orignal & ratty bikes went off well, and I have never witnessed so many original paint bikes out West here before! Lots of early stuff, which is so rare in CA, since we have year-round riding weather. The display area will have to expand soon, as there were fantastic examples of all facets of our machines. We could have an area for Period Bobbers alone! And another just for the pre-'16s! I was fascinated by the two matching Curtis'.
The judging proved hot & heavy with more bikes than we had last year. The quality of the restorations is really escalating also.
Dixon is definately a "Must", and should be enjoyed by all.
