I was just flipping my AMCA calendar from March to April and was taking a good last look at John Rhode’s beautiful original paint (military ?) 1919 Excelsior . I was interested to note its 1919 Virginia tag but upon magnifying the brass city tag was floored to see it was from Staunton. I live just up the road from Stanton in Fishersville and wonder does the bike have a local history?
