8-Finger Clutch Spring Retainer Plate?

I found the spring retainer plate (well what it looks like a retainer to me) in a pile of parts I picked up. I searched all my Harley parts manuals (hummer, topper, servi-car, sporty, golf carts, etc.) and do not see any 8-finger clutches. Does anyone know of a motorcycle (or anything British, German, Japanese, etc.) with an 8-finger clutch?
