Cannonball Volunteers Needed
Fans of the Motorcycle Cannonball, Here ye, Here ye, Volunteers Needed! Last month we wrote a couple of stories about the upcoming Motorcycle Cannonball, which will travel from Atlantic City, New Jersey to Carlsbad, California from September 10th 25th. In those stories we solicited volunteers to man the AMCA / AMF booth at each nightly stop.
Now sponsored Lunch Stops have been added and we are in need of more volunteers.
The locations where we need volunteers is (in order of arrival)
o Darlington, Maryland Lunch Stop, September 10th
o Williamstown, West Virginia Lunch Stop, September 12th
o Mason, Ohio Lunch Stop, September 13th
o Cape Girardeau, Missouri Final Stop for the Day, September 14th
o Parson, Kansas Lunch Stop, September 16th
o Augusta, Kansas Dinner Stop, September 16th
o Wichita, Kansas - Final Stop for the Day, September 16th
o Twenty-nine Palms, California Lunch Stop, September 24th

Heres the cool news for AMCA members. For each member who signs up to work the AMCA/AMF table, you will be sent your own personal Cannonball Package which include a custom AMCA Cannonball shirt and an AMCA Hat to wear at your stop plus your own box of promotional items which include Antique Motorcycle magazines, membership brochures, membership sign-up forms, AMCA and AMF swag to give-a-way to local visitors to the display. The Race of the Century staff will transport the AMCA/AMF tent and display from stop to stop. The only thing volunteers have to do is show up to your local stop with your package and represent the club.
If you are a member near one of the above listed stops we are in need of your help while giving you an upfront participants view of the Cannonball. If you are interested in volunteering to represent the AMCA and AMF, please contact Keith Kizer at AMCAExecutiveDirector@gmail.com
