Vintage Pic of the Day - September 8, 2020 - ASL Single Cylinder

      Screen Shot 2020-09-08 at 7.45.08 AM.jpg

Is this antique motorcycle the ancestor of today's ASL in York, UK?

Am I allowed to post those here or will that fall into some type on a non permission clause infringing on some publishing rights? Anybody know? I can continue to post more if allowed.
Bob - Unless they labeled it with a warning I would say if you give credit to the source that it is good intent. If there is a problem I am sure they will let us know. No I don't want us to infringe on someone's rights of ownership. I have looked into permissions, copyrights, etc. and while someone may have bought a photo and physically owns it the photographer still owns the rights. So many of these vintage photos have been shared extensively on the internet.

I don't know Cotten, could be. I could try to resize. I need to do a little more research on how to affect the size of images on the forum.

No MC in this one but a variety of offenses being committed in this ad from 60 years ago. How did we ever survive?

Now I get your Username. HaHa I'm a little slow. Yes a classic color scheme for the Fairlane. Were the OEM retractable roof models always two-tone paint. Yes I see you circled the guy disembarking from the Ford in the ad was without a belt, little girl standing up, oh and the riders in the leather above were without helmets as well. I guess if technology can solve a problem and prevent death and injury its going to get a push for implementation.
