The Royal Enfield Constellation at 700 cc was the largest capacity British bike of its time, and badged as the Indian Chief with a revised front end for the US market from the late 1950s until the early 1960s. They are still out there for sensible money. Do we have any AMCA owners?

I have a 1954 Royal Enfield Meteor 700cc project - tough to find parts for it!Originally posted by Steve Slocombe View PostThe Royal Enfield Constellation at 700 cc was the largest capacity British bike of its time, and badged as the Indian Chief with a revised front end for the US market from the late 1950s until the early 1960s. The third picture is my uncle on the Indian. Does anyone have any information on this photo? I confirmed my identification with my aunt who is the only living sibling.Originally posted by DEEBS47Chief1991 View Post

...all I've got is that it's a 1947 Chief with a few bells and whistles, including a Chummy seat so that (presumably) your aunt could ride along!Originally posted by Glide View Post

I should have clarified. They are not my pics. I was scrolling through and recognized him. My aunt believes the motorcycle belonged to a man named Tom Barber. He would have lived near Rochester/ Monaca Pennsylvania. I was hoping the original poster or others knew the history of the Pic
