Correct. Twin headlamps, round toolbox and Klaxon horn were used on both 1929 and 1930 Harleys, but the '29 has pocket valve cylinders, the one-year 1929 horn brackets, JD forks and hand oil pump line. The 1930 VL in the picture is an earlier one, with the two piece valve covers and the right tank filler further forward. You can also just see the one-year 1930 horn brackets.The forks are also one year, with the 7/16" rocker studs and the rather weak spring fork bridge, all beefed up for 1931.
