 Good question Jerry. The photo looks to be in period and there is very little wear on the kicker pedal. Someone has spent money on the chrome package and saddlebags, and that looks like the optional cadmium front wheel rim. I note black handgrips instead of the standard white. The tank decal is 1934/5, with the striping not quite correct for 1934. Owners often modernised their bikes with later decals, so it is unusual to see this earlier one, although the 1933 bird was always popular. It looks like first paint, but it would be nice to know for sure.
