I'm not trying to be a smarta$$ here but what was the purpose of removing the front fender? Was it style or function? I understood the function behind the original chopper/bobbers reducing weight but some of the early big twin's i see in photos just take off the front fender.

        • I thought it looked good, and it gave you the option of a water cooled generator My (somewhat) 41EL from the mid 1970s.

            • I think the front fender was often removed when it got damaged. After all - it was the first to the scene of the accident. You see many of them trimmed in the front also as if to remove damage.

Vintage shop with a flat belt and line shaft power transfer system for powering tools.

I thought this old shop photo was excellent.

Just a simple rock and roll band that spawned some great guitarists.

Yep mine too Craig. I got the Greatest Hits album for my birthday in 1966 and was my first record album.

How about something for a bit of off-road riding?

Where else better for motorcycle enthusiasts to gather than a cycle repair shop.
