Badger,you could get a 2 speed in 1915 as well.Model 11C,but it was single not twin

Everything I have said Indian had 2 speed in '13 & Harley's first was 1914 10F high speed twin & 10-G delivery van.

Bob, thanks for posting that pic; appears to be a pre-25 J-type bike in the very center of pic. And knucklehead to extreme right. Would you surmise this picture was taken pre- or post-war?
