Vintage Pics of the Day

Picture 1842 looks like 1931/32 Harley VLs with the flat lens Motolamp headlight and the optional swirl tank paint scheme. The front plate reads Los Angeles City Motorcycle Patrol. Picture 1843 is a Pohlmann factory picture of a 1934 Police Harley VL with the early radio. That's the speaker seen between the two pursuit lamps. One-year upswept muffler and last year long twist grips, forward tool box and curved lens Motolamp headlight.

Liberty's latest associate crawled out of the storm drain in October, a Halloween kitty except for white ends of his toes. I named him Knuckles.
