Only recently have I learned the young lady in this pic is 'Laura White',
and the photo taken around Seattle.

The rider is ninety-six now I think, and my daughter says they give his cancer a week.

It was definitely my first memory of Steve McQueen. My Father took my brothers & i to see it at the Fox Theatre in Downtown Detroit. To watch that movie on that Giant screen, plus that soundtrack, was Totally inspiring and everlasting. Steve & Bud stole the ending of 'The Great Escape' with the Motorcycle chase scene.

"The Traub's technology was decades ahead of other motorcycles produced at the time, including a unique twin-brake/single-cam system that has not been seen on any other American motorcycle to this day."
