Bottom is featuring the new "Indian Arrow" so the H-D guys were probably just curious...

PS: Since we brought up Pancho Villa, anybody recognize the fellow with the derby hat?

(I only know what it said when I snagged the pic....)

                  • 1598 bottom pic, is that a 45" police bike with no front fender? 45" weren't common for police were they?

It was a vaudeville punch line, Harry!

PS: I was 'bored and razed' in Peoria.
PPS: Tried to find the clip, but only determined that it was Ollie who said "Lets go back to Peoria", not Stan.

40 years ago I had a camera that would do this on occasion if I wasn't real careful with it. You could make some really neat 'photo shops' before that was even a phrase.

It is a Servi-Car, that is the edge of the box lid in the upright position on the edge of the picture.

....possible connection to Charlie Chaplin : "The Life of General Villa, a lost film, produced by the company of David Wark Griffith, Charles Chaplin and Mutual, included not only real scenes of battles fought during the second revolutionary stage, but also fictional sequences to make audiences aware of the hero." (see link : https://moreliafilmfest.com/en/la-vi...como-el-mismo/ )

I think Stan and Ollie were later than Pancho Villa.
