    Hi Phil! And thanks.
You pretty much covered the options. There is one other motel that is a mom and pop operation.
It is the Ranch Motel. 402-721-0137. Its just west of the Econo Motel on US Business 3O.
The host motel has been sold out for quite a while but with a little weather moving in tonight into Thursday they may get a cancellation or two so I would keep trying them and the others if anyone is still looking for a room.

Also anyone that may be in town this afternoon into tonight. We will have a guy out at Christensen Field for a while if anyone wants to bring a bike out early to avoid the rain. My phone number is on the Chapter web site.

    HOTEL--MOTEL alert all late registrants:
Hi Scott, thought I might help anybody with an update on hotel reservations.
I just reserved 2 rooms at the Econo inn .... phone 402-721-4310 .......... 60 bucks/room! ........ just up the road from our "host hotel".
Sleep Inn, Super 8, Holiday, Country Inn, Oak Tree inn, are ALL BOOKED, no rooms available.
Don't know if Econo has any more. I feel like I got lucky this early am. Why did I think this would be a matter of small consequence? We had to drive 30 miles to hotel at Wauseon last July, and we had to drink a case of beer in the parking lot waiting for the room to cool down to 90!
Good news for everybody is that the meet is probably getting (too?) popular.
Let's get on the stick and get your reservations ........ friendly Nebraska prices,
    who else is close-by, Scott?

    It's getting close now!

The weather is looking good too. We haven't had anything resembling riding weather for this event since 2007.
That was the year Jerry Ottaway brought the Super Six up from Wichita and was letting guys ride it around Fremont.
If your Vending the doors for set up open at 10:00 AM Thursday.
Safe travels to everyone planning on attending.

Man I wish I could attend. My last year on the job and then I plan to be a regular. I have been and was honoured to be a member of 'order of the cotton glove'. An honour I do not take lightly. The meet is one of my favourites. The bikes, the parts, but....it's the people. The finest in the hobby..Rich Schultz, Mark LaFleur (aka Landshark) Paul Jenzen, Phil Mast and Carl and Matt Olsen just to name a few. Beers on me in '15

    John and VPH-D -

Thanks for your kind words. I arrive in Omaha on Thursday, Feb. 20th @ 2:30pm. I will warm up the rental and motor on in! I was born and raised in upstate New York, so I am more than familiar with cold, wet, New England winters! (The WORST, by the way!).

Last year, I did a consulting job in Daqing, China, northwest of Beijing, right near the Mongolian-Russian border. The ambient temperature was -45 degrees F during the day, and colder at night! I cannot imagine anything colder than that! (Maybe Siberia?) Here is a photo of Daqing from the air. IMG_5098.jpg)

I look forward to meeting you and all the other AMCA members in Nebraska!

    Best regards,

    JJ Cerilli

John, never been to Fremont Nebraska in February? You are in for a big surprise. It may be cold and blowing outside but it will be plenty warm inside Christensen Field. We heat it with Nebraska Hospitality! Look forward to meeting you then. I'm not sure when your arriving but the "show" starts about 10:00 AM Thursday with Vendor setup and Judged/Display Motorcycle arrival. Come early if you can.
Jerry and VPH-D (John is that you?)....see you all soon.
