  • 1965 FLH Trip

As promised I checked it out and did have the article on the10,000 mile trip to Alaska the husband and wife team were fromMuncho Lake BC and started in Port RobinsonBC they towed a 14 foot boat with a 40HP motor, the payload was 2500lbs,on the way home they took two ferries andstopped by the factory then drove home,no mention of the gas mileage either, but with a payload of 2500lbs Id say it was not toooooo good!We must remember...gas was cheap!
Oh by the way on the front cover was Mert Lawwill racing George Roeder,my 47 knuck comes from the Roeder shop, still have the original warranty card! And I cannt tell you how many mpgs that one get either, yes my wife and I do ride them they are not and will not be trailer queens as long as we own them!
Working...
