  • Hazy windshield

Can anyone recommend a product that will remove "haze" from my windshield? I'd like to keep it because it's original to my bike. There seem to be a lot of products out there but I was hoping to get tips from someone that has had success at cleaning one up. Thanks,George #24919

I use 3M Finesse-it or similar compound & machine buffer (professional variable speed, not one of the orbital DIY $25 hardware store types) and a quality wool pad on mine with great results. I prefer this way to magic potions or chemicals in a bottle. It does take some skill/practice if you've never run a buffer before, otherwise you could make it worse or break it. Maybe a quality paint shop has an experienced buffer or check with a good detail guy that would do it for a reasonable charge.
